Is there a Creo iPhone app to view on the device?
@virtualbrands is it in review phase on AppStore for now
Go to your Beta 4.2 and select Creo Menu from dropdown and check for updates.
Still no native app support... scheduled for beta 6!
You can't compile the app. Not sure about the intent of this release.
This Beta5 release is a cosmetic and some functional bugs update. Creo can't find the hardware to display the "Hello World" sample file.
@tbd I am not able to reproduce the webview crash. Can you send a project that is able to reproduce it?
@marco added a new bug report with project in the Bug Reporting section of the forum. hope it helps
Pretty sure I remember this dialog when it said 'available in the next beta'. :-(
@steveharman it will be available in b6 ... and b6 will be available pretty soon.
@marco When will b6 and final release be ready? Any timeline would be helpful for project planning. Thx
@marco Following @virtualbrands questions:
Can you give us any timeline. The lack of communication from your side is starting to become an issue.
We are trying to get involve in this Beta thing so far but we waited more than 6 months with almost not a single word from your side.
In the meantime, some of us are trying other tools, even learning Xcode to seem extend.
We were expecting Beta five, we got 4.2 without Side App.
I understand you are busy, so we are and still taking time to test your product.
You should be more careful with you communication and share more of your progress.
Thank you,
Kwint
@virtualbrands @Kwint @steveharman @tbd @Joel_Eisenstat and all others beta testers.
I understand your concerns and I apologize for the lack of communication on our side. We just released version 1.0b5.2 (beta 5 is a huge update) and we plan to release minor incremental 1.0b5.x updates in the upcoming days until all known issues (and reported bugs) has been fixed.
We'll then release a b6 version which should be very stable and in b6 we'll introduce native compilation capabilities. After b6 we'll plan to have at maximum one more beta release and then a final 1.0 version.
It is hard to predict how many issues will be reported in the upcoming betas but our plan is to have a final release by the end of the year.
Hope this helps,
